SPEL Ltd is a wholly owned subsidiary of William Adams Pty. Ltd group of companies based in Tasmania and Victoria, Australia. In 1997 SPEL was formed when William Adams Pty Ltd entered a joint venture with Serco Group NZ Ltd to provide base repair and warehousing support to the New Zealand Army at Trentham.

William Adams Pty Ltd purchased the shareholding of Serco Group Plc in June 2007 and continues to run it as part of the parent group.
