In EIR we inspect, align, collimate and repair:

We use a modern soldering and de-soldering bench when repairs require replacement of electronic components. Technicians operating this equipment are qualified in High Reliability Hand Soldering to New Zealand Army Standards.

Military and marine-type equipment are environmentally tested before being returned to the customer.

We offer one of New Zealand's only 'clean rooms'.

The clean room is used to perform most optical and instrumentation repairs. The room is certified to Standard AS18097. We also have RFI screened rooms where we repair communication equipment on automated test equipment benches and a laser-safe room (up to Class 4) where lasers are repaired and tested.

The entire facility is temperature-controlled, ensuring electronic test equipment and subsequent measurements are within specification.
